Allergies

A few months ago we found out our son has several food allergies.
It was a really tough time for me, I had spent most of his first year pretty sure he was allergic to dairy, but wasn't prepared for the rest of them. His dr spent several appointments assuring me he didn't have any allergies and that his eczema was normal. After so many weeks/months of waking up to his sheets covered in blood from him scratching at his skin, I decided to call and make an appointment with an allergist.
No matter how prepared I thought I was that afternoon when I got the phone call,  I still cryed. Hearing your 14 month old son is highly allergic to dairy, wheat, eggs, bananas, tomatoes, dust and dogs, is certainly not something any mother wants to hear.
Thankfully, we have been able to get his skin cleared up, no more scratching, and he is overall a happy little boy! Its been a really tough road,  eating out is pretty much not possible. It has definitely made me more aware of what I am eating and feeding my family.
I have had trouble finding recipes and ideas in this whole venture so I'm going to post some recipes and tips I find along the way! I'd love to help another family who finds out this news!
